Yvonne M. “Yama” McCone, 53 years old, died suddenly at Cape Cod Hospital in Hyannis on Tuesday May 13, 2008, after being stricken ill at her home.  Born in Taunton daughter of the late Andrew and Mabel (Fellow) McCone.  She was educated in Taunton Schools and was a member of Baptist Church of All Nations in  Taunton.  She enjoyed music and dancing.  She has been a resident of Hyannis for the past ten years.  She is the loving mother of Paul  McCone of  Taunton and Lydia Lowe of GA.  She is  the loving lifelong companion of Edward Silvia of Haynnis.  She is the grandmother of Andre Sherrod, Ardriana  Sherrod, Paul McCone, Jr,  Eric McCone and Dasia McCone and she is  great grandmother of Andre Sherrod, III,  Yama is the sister of Geraldine (McCone) Ambers, Eloise (McCone) Woodson and Andrew McCone, Jr. all of a Taunton.  She is also survived by several aunts, uncles, cousins and a host of friends. Her funeral service will be held in the Baptist Church of All Nations 61 Winthrop Street, Taunton on Tuesday at 11AM.
