7. Trust: "Father, into thy hands I commend my spirit!" During these past weeks of sharing with you my thoughts on Jesus last words I have wondered if the first six statements from the cross were laid-out so that we can better understand the freedom that awaits us when we Trust an all knowing God.

We understand 1-forgiveness as one that has been forgiven and one that forgives; we understand that our 2-salvation comes when we accept and believe Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior; we understand that being in 3-community with other believers is important; we understand that our journeys are with much 4-suffering; we understand that we are 5-limited human beings since we can only see as far as our eyes will take us and we understand that in order for us to be 6-complete we need to live-out the previous five understandings.

Should I / we begin our days reflecting on these 7-Last Words / statements daily or whenever we feel doubt, discouragement, insecure, fearful, or just plan overwhelmed? Is that how we are then able to trust?
Is that how we then are able to be led and directed by God's Holy Spirit?
Is that how we then can submit / entrust ALL into God's Hands?
Is that how we then RESURRECT or are REBORN in Christ daily?

Happy Resurrections Sunday
