"Showing to the generations to come the praises of the Lord!" -Psalms 78:4
Welcome Back!!!
Joyful Voices started out with a Bang!!! 20 voices on September 24th!!! Joyful Voices is growing and I am very happy to see the children enjoying their singing for the Lord.
Sorry to those who could not make the pizza party but we will have another one in November. Also, Pastor Wilson has suggested we take the children out for a day of fun…any suggestions???
Please remember choir rehearsal is every 3rd and 4th Saturday, with the children singing on the 4th Sunday. Sr. Michelle Fralin and myself will continue to contact all parents, grandparents, aunts and uncles the day or night before rehearsal.
Thank you to the parents who extend themselves during rehearsal days, Sr. Michelle and I really appreciate it. Over 20 children could be unmanageable, so we are very grateful to our parents.
Any music suggestions or requests, please let me know, it’s a challenge to get children’s music. Any musicians, we would love to have you on Saturday afternoons.
Thanks and again, WELCOME BACK!!!

Ministry Schedule
"From the lips of children and infants you have ordained praise." -Psalm 8:2
LOVE is Patient when the children were fed SUGAR before the rehearsal. LOVE is Kind when parent's are critical because their child didn't get a solo, LOVE is Not Jealous when other churches have bigger and better programs than we do, LOVE Keeps No Record of how many times you've had to change your rehearsal schedule to accommodate Life's never ending pressures. LOVE Doesn't Rejoice when your successful peer has a failure, but rejoices with and for others who may be achieving more for the Lord than we are. LOVE Always Protects the self worth of children, always hopes for children to love God's music, always perseveres when the microphones don't work, speakers fail or the background music skips.
LOVE Never Fails when your budget is cut. But where there are critical people, they will cease; where there are uncertain singers, they will make melody in their heart. I am still learning how to teach children music, but when Jesus comes again, we will all praise Him with a pure heart. I see teaching music as an overwhelming responsibility, but then, we will all see the rewards of those children whose lives were touched by God's music. And now, abideth these three, faith, hope, and love. And they were first taught to me in a choir.
